Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a professional CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also the owner of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it in addition. Annie is the first woman to have ever won two CrossFit Games. Her second place was both in the year 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir was an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion, and a popular media figure. The popular athlete is the first woman who won in the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. In 2013, and in 2017 she took home in the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie as well as her both her parents and siblings was raised in Reykjavik Iceland. Being a sports and exercising enthusiast since a young age she participated in various school games and won several medals. She participated for the first time in 2009 in CrossFit Games held in California, where she did well. Annie Thorisdottir has 31 years older (as in 2021). She's 5' 7" tall and weighs about 67 kg. Annie began her CrossFit adventure in California in 2009. She was able to perform well during the first few competitions. She was among the in the top 10 among over 70. However, she was unable to get any results from the event and finished the tournament with a score of 11. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In the same year, under Jami's guidance, she took home the gold medal at the CrossFit Games. Following that she was a participant in CrossFit Games and won them because of her dominating performance. She was the first woman to ever take home a gold medal in CrossFit Games. Annie's impressive performance in 2012 led to her a third CrossFit Games victory. This was the second time she won consecutively. Silver medals were awarded in 2014. In 2021, she was awarded an award of bronze at CrossFit Games. Annie trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie is an athlete on the rise who has been the face of numerous brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs, Renaissance Periodization, Nuun Hydration and Sidekick Yerbae. Some 2,000 people have subscribed to her own Youtube Channel where training videos, travel vlogs and family videos are shared.
