David-Muir

David Muir (born August 25, 1949) is an American anchor, journalist and reporter. The most famous of his work is for World News Tonight. Its dramatic video footage and the animated movements have made it the most popular newscast in the United States. Made In America is his Emmy award-winning show. Before joining ABC World News Tonight, He was the main substitute for his predecessor Diane Sawyer. He reported on many primetime ABC News specials, including Breaking Point - Heroin in America. The journeys he has taken him on took him to the far regions of the globe and include Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti the Gulf of Mexico and more. He has been awarded multiple Emmy Awards, Edward R. Murrow Honors and awards from Associated Press.
