Carly Rae Jepsen is a Canadian artist born on 21 November 1984 in the Mission area of British Columbia. The singer began her musical career as a child and by the time she was in high school she was already appearing in local talent performances. Then, in Victoria, British Columbia she was a student at the Canadian College of Performing Arts. The year 2007 was the year she made it into the Top 3 of The Canadian Idol fifth season.
